There are quite a lot of new hangout places at Puri – West Jakarta area along with the expansion of Puri Indah Mall. After having our tea time at Hans & Belle we decided to have a lunch at MazelTov Wine House and Lounge.
MazelTov is located in the new expansion building ground floor with outdoor and indoor area. We chose to sit in the outdoor area because it was cozier with the sofa and also brighter with natural light of the sun so we can take better picture for you guys :) According to wikipedia, Mazel Tov means good luck for a happy and significant occasion, so by naming it MazelTov hopefully their customer will have a good time there.
MazelTov serves mostly western menu such as nachos, chicken wings, quesadilla, salad, burger, sandwich, pizza, steak, pasta and all day breakfast menu, price range from IDR 15k to IDR 168k.
One thing that AnakJajan dislike is the menu book without any picture in it. Wasting my time reading the description and imagining how the dish will look like. I kinda take it seriously because I hate ordering wrong dishes and ended up disappointed with my choice.

Mr. Jajan has been craving for chicken dishes for a while, so he immediately decided order Pullet Mediterrane. This dish was quite enjoyable, chicken was cooked perfectly, juicy, tender and well seasoned. Flavor between sauce and ratatouille were complimenting each other resulting a balance flavor between the tanginess from ratatouille and creaminess from the sauce.

I was going to order Corned Beef Hash from the breakfast menu, but unfortunately the only breakfast menu that I’m interested with wasn’t available, so after re-reading menu book for a while, I decided to order Gremolata Chicken Breast.
By reading the description from both menu I’m sure you won’t find any similarity from the seasoning rite?? But when my order came, I was shocked because it looks pretty much the same with the other dish, both also drizzled with the same creamy sauce. Except vegetable ratatouille, all of the ingredients taste kinda similar.
Well, on the other hand, the chicken was cooked perfectly tender and juicy although the seasoning was kinda bland for me, I prefer Mr. Jajan’s Pullet Mediterrane.

Overall, I’m glad that finally there are more hangout option at West Jakarta area and MazelTov can be one of it. The food, drink and ambiance there are quite enjoyable. Let’s Jajan!!
