MOJO Kitchen and Bar serves Californian cuisine. Many of you probably don’t know what is Californian cuisine? Californian cuisine is a style of fusion cuisine influenced by French, Italian, Mexican, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, etc cuisine resulting many kind of new and interesting dishes.
That’s why you will find the food at MOJO are mostly western with Mexican and Korean twist from the appetizer, main course till dessert with price range IDR 15k – IDR 165k per portion.
MOJO also have quite a lot of choice of drink from alcohol to non alcohol with price range IDR 20k – IDR 250k per glass.
Interior
The moment I stepped in, I instantly fell in love with this place. Lovely wooden interior, fresh flowers on the table, cozy and hip music, with a lot of natural light comes from the roof made of glass, a combination that cannot go wrong!

Soft flour tortilla taco with beef tounge. All of the ingredients are complimenting each other resulting refreshing yet creamy and rich flavor in a bite. The beef tounge was cooked till perfection, so tender and well seasoned. Simply addicting!

MOJO serves Korean style chicken wings with two choice of flavor, one with soy honey glazed other with gochujang glazed. I a fan of the soy honey glazed sauce, crispy fried with salty yet sweet. While the spicy one have too much gingery flavor and not too spicy for me.

Not any fish and chips you can find out there. Fish and chips at MOJO is paired with sour and refreshing pineapple salsa and strawberry jalapeno cream to balance the fried fish and fries.

I always love this kind of sweet & savory combination dish. This one here probably the best chicken and waffle we had so far. Chicken was perfectly fried, juicy, well seasoned and crunchy, taste even better when you pour maple butter syrup that has lovely smell and taste. Recommended!

Fried rice was well seasoned and fried, kinda reminding me of Indonesian salted fish fried rice because they added salted squid in to the fried rice. Beef tounge also really tender.

Steamed rice, creamed corn, MOJO verde, nori strips, sour cream, KB sauce and mixed veggies
SOO GOOD!! I CRIED!! Writing about it making me droll over myself already when I imagine the taste. Presentation was similar with Korean bibimbab. The seasoning was rich and creamy with a bit of crunchiness ( I think it’s from bread crumb). You have to mix all of the ingredients with the rice before you eat it, and I’m sure the moment you have a bite, you will find youself not wanting to stop. Promise me to order it when you visit MOJO okay?!!

If you are a fan of cheesecake or peanut butter, or even if you are not a big fan of cheesecake (just like me) you should totally order this rich peanut butter cheese cake served with generous whipped airy light peanut butter.
This cake is really rich with peanut butter flavor and ain’t too cheesy at all, inside the cake you will find some chunks of peanut hiding. If only I wasn’t too full after trying all of the dishes above, I would have 2 portion of this cake by myself.
