Milk Tea and Crispy Chicken are one of the most famous specialties from Taiwan. And both are our favorite menu to have for snacking every time we go to the mall. As we have shared on our previous post about AEON Mall, we love this mall very much simply because we can find many interesting yet delicious food there including I Love Taimei.
Following their success at Tribeca Central Park Mall and Food Avenue Lippo Mall Puri, they recently opened the newest outlet in AEON Mall BSD. I love Taimei is specialized in Taiwan crispy chicken and drink. What we love from I Love Taimei is they have plentiful choices of food and beverage menu.
Choco La Creme IDR 25k
Sweet and rich chocolate milk drink with fluffy savory creme on top. The best way to enjoy this kind of drink is to cut a small hole on the edge of the glass and slowly sip it so you can get the sweet and savory combination from drink and creme.
Super Caramel Milk IDR 22k
Still is my all time favorite drink at I Love Taimei. Light milky drink with tasty sweet caramel flavor aftertaste. Fyi, the best topping to go with Super Caramel Milk would be the silky smooth grass jelly.
Double Taro Milk tea IDR 25k
Double happiness of taro in a cup, this new drink menu of I Love Taimei consist of taro milk tea along with real taro chunk in it. Fyi, you can up-size the drink from medium to large by adding additional IDR 3k and also you can adjust the sweetness level just the way you like.
Various toppings are available to choose from pearl, white pearl, taro , aloe vera, gras jelly, ai-yu jelly, la creme, passion popz till mango popz.
Selina IDR 40k
Main specialty of I Love Taimei would be the crispy chicken and Selina is their signature menu, crispy fried chicken fillet seasoned with I Love Taimei signature BBQ sauce. We always order this menu every time we go to Taimei simply because the BBQ seasoning is unique and tasty with sweet and savory flavor combination.
Hebe IDR 40k
For basic seasoning, you can order Hebe with savory and peppery seasoning.
Shan Cai Bento IDR 40k
If you are up to something more filling, then Shan Chai Bento is the right choice with fluffy rice, crispy chicken of your choice, marinated boiled egg and seasoned fried french beans.
Sweet Potato IDR 20k
Not being over exaggerated but the fried sweet potato we had at Taimei was one of the best. Crunchy on the outside while fluffy soft and sweet on the inside, nicely seasoned with plum seasoning and not greasy at all. Me likey!
Chicken Skin IDR 24k
I Love Taimei is still one of the best places for crispy chicken skin. Perfectly fried, the chicken skin was impressive, sooo crispy and very addicting. In order to produce this kind of crispiness without being greasy at all, they carefully trim all of the fat under the chicken skin making it less guilty and crispier. This menu is highly recommended!
Overall I Love Taimei is definitely a great option for snacking especially if you are a fan of Taiwan specialty drink and crispy chicken. Let’s Jajan!!
