Chir Chir has caught my attention a few months ago since it opened in Singapore and went viral on instagram and by then I have put it on the must try list. This Fusion Chicken Factory is said to be a famous Korean fried chicken restaurant from Korea.
A few weeks ago, AnakJajan had a short weekend trip to Singapore to Trick Eye Museum and finally we got the chance to try Chir Chir. AnakJajan visited their outlet at 313 Somerset, the restaurant was packed during our visit on Sunday night dinner time we had to queue around 10 minutes.This casual restaurant is specialized in chicken dishes with unique modern fusion twist.
Nest Snow SGD 32.9
This particular menu really caught my eyes with its unique combination. It is the signature dish from Chir Chir that consist of juicy chicken tenders with cajun seasoning, mashed sweet potato, rich cream sauce and whipped cream, sounds awesome right?!
The chicken itself was damn tender with crunchy exterior and very flavorful. While the thick cream sauce was creamy rich and savory nicely combined with smooth sweet mashed sweet potato. AnakJajan must say that the whole combination between chicken, mashed sweet potato and cream sauce was delicious and very enjoyable especially if you are big fan of creamy dish.
Spicy Wings SGD 28.9
Crispy fried wings in Chir Chir’s special sauce with fried sweet potato cubes and rice cake topped with almond flake. Chicken wings itself were already so sooo good, tender juicy and fully marinated with savory seasoning while very crunchy on outside. As for the spicy seasoning was quite hot but it was too sweet for our liking. Fyi, Chir Chir provides this super cute chicken feet shaped clamp for the customer to hold the chicken so we can keep our hands clean.
Overall, Chir Chir definitely know how to cook their chicken nicely, each dish comes with huge huge portion it’s better to enjoy it with a group of friends. Let’s Jajan!!
