Get ready guys, there’s a new rooftop hangout spot in Jakarta opening soon, BART (Bar at The Roof Top) at Artotel Thamrin Jakarta.
Last weekend, AnakJajan had a fun staycation at Artotel Thamrin Jakarta with fellow bloggers, and we had the privilege to experience this new roof top bar on the 7th floor of Artotel Jakarta, BART. BART will be open for public this week on 17th October 2014, so get ready guys.
This rooftop bar is pretty cozy, decorated with black and white furniture with huge opening space facing Jakarta landscape from the 7th floor. Please make sure you wear thin and comfortable clothing considering Jakarta’s hot weather. I accidentally wore black and white pattern shirt that looks similar with their chair I can hide and camouflage myself between it hahaha.
Food and beverage at BART is pretty affordable: Mocktail IDR 48k, Beer IDR 38k-125k, Wine IDR 88k/ glass, Signature Cocktail IDR 110k, Classic Cocktail IDR 88k, Regular Spirit IDR 65k, Cognag, Premium Spirit, Single Malt Whiskey, Fresh Juice IDR 38k, Soft Drink & Water IDR 35k, Milkshake IDR 45k and Finger Food IDR 35k – IDR 96k.

During our visit at BART, we had several fun activities Artotel prepared for us, first is Bartender Class, the bartender teach us how to make their signature Spicy Rita, first is to pestle the lime with blackpepper to extract the flavor and then add the rest of the liquid with ice, shake it well with ice and serve it with flamed orange slice. Taste very refreshing and tangy with a warm after taste from the blackpepper.

After having fun at Bartender Class, we were proceed to have high tea with sweet and savory snacks specially prepared by Chef Faizal Irvan while enjoying afternoon sun at BART. All of them tasted pretty palatable, our favorite would be the mini burgers with juicy and thick beef patty.
A while before sunset, we had around 30 minutes painting art class conducted by Mr. Safrie, each of us are free to express anything in to our painting, I don’t know why but I ended up producing pretty dark painting with heart in the middle, while Mr. Jajan drew and paint a lot of circle but didn’t manage to finish his drawing due to time limitation.
Among us all the only one that shine the most would be Verdi from Hungry Doctor, well no wonder this guy has a whole cupboard full of trophy from winning painting or drawing contest.
Back to the topic, BART is opening very soon for public this 17th October 2014, beverage selection here are plentiful with pretty reasonable and obviously cheaper price than other rooftop bar in Jakarta. Let’s hangout!!
