All of you must be agree that Hoka Hoka Bento is one of the most favorite restaurant from long time ago up to the present. Built on 1985, being one of the first Japanese fast food restaurant, there’s always something about Hoka Hoka Bento that always makes me miss this restaurant and keep getting back for more. The taste and smell of the food, the fluffy soft rice, crunchy breaded katsu, hot and comfort soup, etc.
Even though this brand been established since 1985, Hoka Hoka Bento has a tagline that is “We Make It Better” that make them always keep innovating and be creative. No wonder that up until now Hoka Hoka Bento is still a leader in Japanese fast food industry in Indonesia.
All of us as one of the loyal customer of this restaurant surely will not get bored in this restaurant because they keep innovating both in restaurant concept and food beverage menu. For example is the outlet, lately if you pay attention you will notice that the interior has changed with more fresh, fun and premium interior decoration. In compared to the old interior with red and black color domination, AnakJajan personally love the new concept more, the outlet is brighter and more fun with yellow and white color combination and simple yet chic decoration. Besides the outlet, they always have new menu selection too.
Last night, I suddenly miss the taste of Hoka Hoka Bento’s food so much so I immediately ask Mr. Jajan to bring me to Hoka Hoka Bento for dinner, being super hungry I almost want to order everything ooopsiieee.
Besides ordering our favorite classic menu, we usually also love to try on their new menu. One of the new menu creation is #HotNFresh Sakana Katsu.
Sakana Katsu is a breaded Japanese fish fried until golden brown. Each portion of Sakana Katsu cost IDR 30k (after tax) consist of 8 pieces of Sakana Katsu per portion served with Hoka Hoka Bento’s signature salad.
Fried menu from Hoka Hoka Bento is always my favorite choice, I enjoyed the perfectly fried crispy golden brown texture from the outside of Sakana Katsu, the fish itself was soft and not fishy at all.
Remember that this menu only available until December 2014, so what are you waiting for?? Make sure you try it while it is available. Afterall, Bento Made Better :) Let’s Jajan at Hoka Hoka Bento!!
