Introducing BLU the newest and hottest pop-up lounge at Shangri-la Hotel Jakarta.
BLU opens every Wednesday to Saturday night from 5pm until midnight with live music or DJ starting from 9pm. It’s located near the pool area of Shangri-La Hotel Jakarta.
BLU is a collaboration between Shangri-La with Selavi Limited, a renowned US-based marketing firm that has been popularly recognize with it’s success partnership with with Marquee New York, Beverly Hilton Los Angeles, XEX Tokyo and many others.
Surrounded by a garden and majestic pool, Blu is a definite oasis within a bustling city, providing guests with unique evocation of the French Riviera while enjoying signature libations from Moët Hennessy and selections of food specially prepared in Shangri-La quality.
BLU offers three types of seats: dining sofa, customized bed and plush pillows for the visitors to chill (Minimum charge IDR 1.2mil apply for sofa and bed.). There are also two bars and communal table in the middle.
Long drinks starting at IDR 95k, cocktails starting at IDR 120k and Moët & Chandon Champagne will be available by the glass at IDR 169k. As for the food here you can order light bite such as Prawn Cocktail, Vodka Tomato Shooter, Eclairs or even heavy meal such as Meat & Chips, BLU Nasi Goreng, etc with price range starting from IDR 38k to IDR 198k.
AnakJajan ordered several dishes at BLU, Poached Egg and Truffle IDT 88k (soft-poached egg with sautee spinach and potato truffle mousseline), Meat and Chips IDR 198k (US steak strips and crispy chips and porcini mushroom sauce), Lobster / US Beef Burger IDR 160k, BLU Nasi Goreng IDR 110k, Sensation IDR 48k (rose-jelly with litchi confit, coulis ruby and cremeux raspberry) and Apple tartin IDR 48k (caramelized puff apple tart with baileys creme brulee ice cream). Our favorite would be the tender and juicy steak Meat and Chips.
Overall, BLU can be your new alternative to relax and chill, btw BLU only opens for a limited time so make sure you visit while it’s still available. Let’s Jajan!!
