Have you heard of the Bohemian Eclectic Gastrobar at Gunawarman called Fitzroy Gastrobar inspired by one of the hip area at Melbourne Australia?
This place was opened by a group of 4 young talented Indonesian who used to live in Melbourne Australia and they decided to open a place that can offer lifestyle a la Melbourne with the refreshing cocktails & mocktails in their bar and also comfort food to satisfy your tummy.
The interior is unique and really one of a kind with the Bohemian Eclectic concept giving us the chill & cozy feeling. And also one of their wall is decorated with artwork by one of the young talented Indonesian artist and you know what? The drawing is in 3D form!! Soon they will provide 3D glasses so you can see the effect. If you notice their logo you can see a howling creature called Dingo to represent the way Mr. Dingo calling its peer to come and enjoy their time at Fitzroy.

There are 6 choice of flavors you can choose from the infused vodka: Apple, Blueberry, Pomegranate, Apple Ginger, Marshmallow, and Strawberry Apple. My favorite is the soft sweet and light tasting marshmallow.

Super unique presentation because literally it looks like a pot of shabu-shabu complete with the ‘meat slices’ and ‘meat balls’!! There are two version of ‘Friends of Mine’: virgin with no alcohol or with alcohol.

All you need to do is to put the watermelon ‘meat slice’ and honeydew & strawberry ‘meatball’ into the cocktail/mocktail ‘soup’, mix well and enjoy!

Mr. Moo’s Gyu Tan Don IDR 58k
This is the signature menu at Fitzroy. Actually this menu is quite popular and at Melbourne. Consist of a bowl of rice with Gyutan aka beef tongue on top. The beef tongue was thinly sliced and well marinated with sweet base sauce, you can also order additional sunny side up egg and add some chili flakes to elevate the taste, but be careful the chili flakes are really hot!

Golden Monkey Pie IDR 45k
This pie is quite similar with banoffee, consist of banana & cream with caramel sauce served with a scoop of ice cream, the only difference is they don’t use coffee at all so we cannot call this pie banofee :) The crust was quite good I can easily cut it. Such a sweet ending.

Overall AnakJajan really love the concept of Fitzroy with its non mainstream interior, music, and the food also. Cannot wait to visit again. Let’s Jajan!!
