If you notice my instagram @AnakJajan, you probably already know that I broke my phone. I accidentally dropped my Samsung S4 from a height of 1 meter and this damn gorilla glass LCD cracked a lil bit and decided to stop functioning :(
On the saturday I woke up early and I bring my Samsung S4 to the service centre so I don’t need to waste my time queuing at the service centre. After that, me and Mr.Jajan decided to have an early breakfast at Le Cafe Gourmand since the store is open from 07.00 am.
FYI, Le Café Gourmand is a french patisserie specialized in pastries, coffee and ice cream established in Surabaya since 2012 ago, and recently they expand their business and open their first branch in Jakarta – Gunawarman area (near senopati). Besides coffee, tea, icecream, and pastries, you can also order breakfast menu or crepe.
Do you agree that a place can be called cozy not only based on the interior, but also by another factor such as the ambiance and music?? Last time we have talk about how can a restaurant or cafe can be your favorite?? and believe me music is also one of the important aspect to produce a cozy place.

The staff told us Charlotte is one of the signature cake here, so AnakJajan ordered one. Cake was soft with light chocolate mousse inside and it has the right amount of sweetness. Overall was nice but not memorable for me.

SOOOOO GOOOD!!! Lately I have been craving for a good chocolatey pastry but I haven’t found the one that can really satisfy my craving. But finally AnakJajan found THE ONE!! This chocolate tart is my number 1 favorite tart so far!! The crust was baked till perfection crunchy and smells really good, don’t get me started with the tart filling, I died!! Silky smooth chocolate ganache and caramel, and the white stuff was kinda fluffy light pastry cream with a lil bit of caramel taste.
