Last month 14th Feb 2014 was the 10th Valentine’s day that I celebrate with Mr. Jajan. We decided to celebrate our valentine in a simple way by having a casual lunch on the weekend just the two of us and not having any invitation or any other agenda. Since Mr.Jajan want to try a new place and I’m craving for Italian pizza & pasta, we chose to try Balboni Ristorante located in Kota Kasablanka Mall.
The interior itself was nice, with lot’s of vintage & rustique stuff and dimmed light. Besides indoor area, they also have outdoor area that is really nice where you can enjoy the breeze of wind & garden.
We didn’t took lots of picture of the food & place on that day because we wanted to enjoy our date, that’s why I don’t have many picture option to choose for this review :)
Lychee Iced Tea IDR 35k, Fresh Strawberry Juice IDR 35k
Pepperoni Pizza IDR 75k
Me likey!! Thin pizza dough with crunchy crust, seasoning also nice and I love the salad on top of it with refreshing balsamic dressing making me unable to stop, I think I ate more pizza than Mr. Jajan, ooppsiee.
Petto di Pollo Arrosto IDR 85k
The chicken was juicy enough and paired with gingery base sauce and baked baby potatoes. The presentation was nice, but it taste kinda bland and below my expectation. Mr. Jajan that have been craving for delicious grilled chicken also disappointed.
Ravioli IDR 105k
Luckily this ravioli dish that look the least appealing surprisingly taste the most delicious. The ravioli was cooked perfectly al-dente with mushroom filling and creamy sauce. The creamy cheese sauce was soooo addicting, I even ‘cocol’ a.k.a dip my pizza with this sauce, oooppss!! Super recommended!!!
Overall we had a great lunch there, great food, cozy ambiance, and the service also was great with friendly staff. Let’s Jajan!!
