Entering Hide & Seek Swillhouse just like entering time machine into the past. The vintage interior concept is fascinating, it is inspired by steampunk technology from 1800.
This place is just sooo handsome! AnakJajan love how well they combine leather couch, dark wooden furniture and vintage machine gear together.
Soybean Truffle Tangy Salad IDR 75k
Fruits and vegetables salad topped with crunchy soybean or tempeh crumble and truffle oil.
Jack Daniel’s Coke Chicken Wings (8pcs) IDR 79k
The fried chicken wings were with Jack Daniel’s bourbon infused and sweet Cola glazed then served with sweet tangy orange dipping sauce. This whole dish only tasted sweet without any saltiness at all, it was kinda funky and weird for us having 100% sweet chicken wings, however this dish has a great potential if only they added a lil bit of salt into the flour batter.
Truffle Chestnut Soup IDR 67k
Hearty bowl of soup, love the smooth texture and comfortness in it but the chestnut chunk was kinda turn off because it was chewy.
Roasted Chicken Half with Asian Barbeque Sauce IDR 75k
Roasted organic chicken marinated with Asian BBQ sauce and then serve with yellow basmati raisin rice. Chicken was nicely roasted, it was tender yet juicy and seasoned very well.
Chinese Style Pork Belly Confit IDR 157k
The pork belly confit was ahmazing!! Freaking juicy and tender with crunchy crackling skin. It was serve with aromatic couscous.
Country Style Roasted Chicken Half IDR 75k
Roasted organic Chicken with chicken gravy and sauteed baby potatoes.
Baked Norwegian Salmon Fillet IDR 139k
Baked salmon with goma glazed (black sesame), caramelized butternut pumpkin and aromatic rice pilaf. AnakJajan love how they manage to cook the salmon perfectly with nice pink juicy tender center.
Truffle Cream Orchiette with Pork Belly IDR 105k
This was my favorite, Orchiette pasta cooked with truffle fream, parmesan and pork belly!! Pasta was nicely cooked while the creamy sauce was nice and not too heavy at all with tender pork belly, heaven! AnakJajan high recommend this menu. Fyi besides pork belly you can also choose salmon too.
Hide & Seek offers wide range of whiskey, cognacs and bourbon, you can also find signature cocktails with unique mixture and catchy names.
Hide and Seek IDR 77k
Vodka, apple juice, kaffir leaves, ginger, lychee fruit and elder flower syrup. Tasted way too funky for me personally.
Gentlemen’s Dessert IDR 125k
Rum, cream liqueur, coffee liqueur and tiramisu cream. Love it! Not only gentlemen, but ladies also enjoyed it!
Apple Steampunk IDR 115k
Gin, cointreau, apple fruit, lemon juice and mint syrup. This is one of the strongest cocktail here, very fruity and refreshing.
Overall, AnakJajan give 100 for the ambience here, while the food some were awesome while some still need a bit improvement. Let’s Jajan!!
