Rainy season is finally here and pipping hot bowl of suki would be the perfect dish don’t you agree?
Tako Suki offers plentiful choices of menu such as suki, Cantonese Chinese food, dimsum and also Japanese food. That’s why you won’t get bored by visiting this restaurant again and again.
Tako Suki is located at Puri West Jakarta area, the restaurant building inside is spacious with several VIP rooms.
Dimsum menus here are plentiful starting from sweet to savory, fried to steamed. AnakJajan had some dimsum, Shao May IDR 16.8k, Durian Bun IDR 15.8k, Deep Fried Wonton IDR 18,8k, Teapot Bun with Taro IDR 14.8k and Shrimp Hakau IDR 18.8k, all of the dimsum tasted pretty good especially the fluffy soft steamed bun.
Fried Gurami Fish with Grilled BBQ sauce IDR 68k
The fist was nicely fried and fresh, but the main star of this dish would be their special Grilled BBQ sauce, Mr. Jajan immediately hooked and couldn’t stop eating it because it was sooo good!!
Fried Chicken with Tako Seasoning IDR 46k
Black Pepper Beef IDR 49k
Juicy and tender beef cube cooked with savory sweet black pepper seasoning.
Sauna Steamed Shrimp IDR 70k
First time in my life watching fresh live prawn cooked inside super hot stone sauna steaming. The prawns were obviously fresh, crunchy and very sweet with a nice steamed aroma, simple yet very satisfying!
Japanese food at Tako Suki also varied starting from sashimi, sushi, salad, yakitori, udon, etc. We had Sushi Combo IDR 150k consist of salmon, tuna, tako, ebi, kani, ikura gunkan, tobiko gunkan, salmon maki and Unazyu Roll IDR 128k consist of jo unagi, ebi tempura, spicy tuna, cucumber. The sushi and sashimi was decent and fresh.
Visiting Tako Suki won’t be complete without having their suki, basically you can choose any ingredients you want starting from meatballs, vegetables, noodles, etc. Each ingredient has its own price in accordance with the color White IDR 10.5k, Yellow IDR 13.5k, Blue IDR 17.5k, Green IDR 22.5k and Red IDR 27.5k. And then for the broth you can choose Chicken broth or Tom Yam broth or both, AnakJajan had both broth half Chicken half Tom Yam.
The chicken broth was comfortable and simple while Tom Yam broth has the perfect balance between spicy and sour making us couldn’t stop from sipping it.
Don’t forget to ask the staff to help you mixing the special dipping sauce using condiments available.
Overall, dining at Tako Suki was very satisfying, AnakJajan enjoyed the plentiful choice of menu. Will be back for more. Let’s Jajan!!
